Love, art and life – like a circle or a single point.

Luigi Carriero is a self-taught artist from Gallipoli (Lecce). His paintings frequently explore notions of identity and duality, presenting works that are not only despairing and uncomfortable, but also underwritten by optimism and promise.

He credits elements of his artistic aesthetic to his strong love for art, music, cinema and fashion. His works are a pursuit of equilibrium and harmony but also an expression of subconscious and chaos, a declaration of love to creativity, improvisation and freedom.

To date, his work has been reviewed by international publications including Harper’s Bazaar and AF Magazine and has been featured on a SoundCloud mixtape album cover by Valentina Georgia Pegorer.
